I think the Cinnabar and Cobalt are two of the "scratchiest" colors. My yellow is scratchy too.

I solve this by rotating out the old and in with the new. I think Scarlet, Tangerine and Sunflower hold up exceptionally well. They also look gorgeous together as well as when complementing them with older colors.
