Different marks on bottom

Subject: Different marks on bottom

Hi,
I have recently started collecting "Fiesat"/"Fiestaware" and I have run into a situation. I am collecting the color "Rose" (my main color) and I have purchased several pieces. On the bottom of some of my rose pieces it says HLC with fiesat under that and USA under that and the other says Fiesta and under that it says Made in U.S.A. and above the fiesta on this one it looks like the initials hlc but they are overlapping like a symbol where the other shows the hland c seperate. Can anyone help? This is very confusing. Do you suggest any book that would help? I have several books on collectibles and antiques but there is just not enough info...
Any help is appreciated for this begginer.
Thanks
